・Double sides progressive + Double sides aspheric

Distortion has been effectively compensated by adopting the progressive lenses for double sides that are otherwise vulnerable to complex changes according to the power conditions.The progressive aspheric surface on the front side is a original concept aspheric surface. It allows the curve of the far-vision area as well as near-vision area of a lens to change 12 variations according to power.

・Progressive aspheric surface

For plus-power lens, deeper curve made on the near-vision area minimizes distortion shallow adjusts the far-vision area. With this, a good balance between far and near vision has been achieved. (The opposite is made for the minus-power lens.)

・Bs-MC (Both sides-Maximum Clearly) method for wide vision for near

The Bs-MC method extended to be suitable for near vision succeeded in improving the betterness of wearing at near vision field and realizing smooth and clear vision field.

・Retinal Focus Design

The transmitted lights are evaluated to make the best power and it contributes to make the vision more comfortable by improving image quality on the retina as well as making the lens lighter.

・Optimal Atoric Design

A design with highly effective aberration control compensates for aberration by ray tracing against full astigmatism (extending to periphery of the lens).The result is an optimal atoric surface and a broadened field of vision.

The LARGO WS is a lens design specially designed to have clear and wide view when seeing near. Wideness is achieved by minimizing the power shift in the progressive corridor. Also the LARGO WS allows you to see even further than just the distance when working on a desk.

The “LARGO WS” has 2 types of digressive power. The width at hand and perspective depend on the type. The remaining accommodation range of a customer shall be considered for choosing the type.
