If dirt, dust, or another foreign matter is on the lens, clean it with water first, wipe off moisture with a tissue, and then clean the lens with a dedicated eyeglass lens wipe. Even coated lenses, which are resistant to scratches and improved in durability, may get damaged or the coating may crack under an excessive impact or if they are handled in an inappropriate manner. Even plastic lenses will get damaged under a strong impact. Before using lenses, do not fail to read the “Instruction Manual.”
