Difficulty Seeing even with glasses

The eyeglasses I use have become unfit for me to see things! The condition of your eyes may have changed.

Various probable factors

  • Don’t you feel your eyes strained by the impact of the work environment?
If the eyes are constantly tense as a result of increased work that requires you to look at nearby objects, it may cause a symptom of eyestrain or asthenopia.
  • Don’t you have trouble seeing objects at hand because of your age?
As age-related farsightedness becomes worse with age, you come to have trouble seeing objects at hand. It causes stress to your eyes, and you feel eyestrain soon.
  • Hasn’t the condition of your eyes changed?
As the axial length of the eyes increases, nearsightedness becomes worse. And if you continue to wear eyeglasses with a power that is unfit for your eyes, you feel your eyesight failing.
In addition, an eye disease causes a failure of eyesight, and the quality of vision (QOV) also declines if you feel glare.
  • Hasn’t the condition of the lenses of your eyeglasses changed?
The peeling of the coating on the lenses due to degradation or contaminated lenses resulting from poor maintenance make objects look less clearly.
Countermeasures / Improvements
  • First of all, go to an eye clinic, and receive proper treatment according to the symptom.
  • Improve the work environment, or take a break to rest your eyes.
  • Warm your eyes to make blood circulation better.
  • If you frequently look at nearby things in work, use bifocal lenses, progressive power lenses for middle/near vision, or lenses for supporting near vision, and relax your eyes.
  • Make new eyeglasses according to your power.
  • Keep your eyeglasses clean.
